Description

Methods of preparation: mixing of natural and / or synthetic components Olfactory characteristics of raw materials: soft, cool, fresh, floral woody aroma Olfactory group: woody Position in the olfactory pyramid: upper, middle, base note Additional information: in perfumery there is no exact definition of rosewood notes. Despite the fact that several plants bear this name at once, none of them serves as a source of perfume raw materials. Moreover, some of them are listed in the Red Book. Among others, rosewood is called a rosewood, whose essential oil consists almost entirely of linalool (a substance with an abstract fresh aroma), but has no relation to the designated family. Thus, the rosewood chord is a fantasy note, interpreted in its own way by different perfumers and capable of possessing various olfactory characteristics.
